Hakan Gence - " Yes, Çağatay Ulusoy came in place where we work..We saw Ulusoy in our life in 'Adini feriha koydum' and his solidified succes in 'Medcezir' .Now in front of us with 'Delibal' movie.. He "May be out of the way" Handsome ,Successful, Fame. Despite of everything 'Gentleman' still maintain his Stance. When He show his Shyness and when speak about Love with his blushing face seems that I am watching in another world.This is my third meeting with Cagatay Ulusoy... Like always when I see him I say ' If he is human,what we are?' ..In 4 years he developed his Acting, relieved himself..When we start interview he do not come up like before.. When I opened tape he say "Come on,start with your query" ..Since he want, I am starting!
R: From Previous work İn this movie you come out as 'A Nice Chap' (Hiphop Image) Aren't you going out of Image. Isn't it Risky?
ÇU : There are those who prefer to take the risk and who do not take.I had a usual image.To walk in that channel can make work for long years. But this, It can not satisfy me spiritually. I do what I feel within. I like those changes.From now on will be like this..For example if they will say ' Gain weight' i will gain or if i should shave my hair I will..
R: Are you happy with new look?
ÇU: In beginning i was not used to it.I completely grew my beard.But one day i say 'who am i ? ' Then i lessened a bit my beard and there is this look..Now I love.
R : Where came out this 'Delibal'?
ÇU : First season of Medcezir it was in the mid.My Relations with our director Ali Bilgin was very good.I said to him that i want to do a Cinema Movie .Then we go to Kerem Çatay. Our Team was complete. It was clear that my character will play drums. I take drums lessons.Since that I didn't let it go. Almost within 6 months I lost 7 kilograms. I make my hairs more long. And my character had a Problem (Disease) I met some persons who had that problem.
R : In movie you have some tattoos, Are they real?
ÇU : No, I love tattoos but dont dare to. In movie I have 11 tattoos all are stickers. On sets to get Ready I was more late than women. R: In movie you sing a song 'Mutlu Sonsuz' lyrics of Sezen Aksu, Did you meet her?
ÇU: Yes,I am very proud. She dont want her to call 'Mrs.Sezen' or 'Sister Sezen' but she say, "Call me Sezen". She wrote very beautiful words for song.And i sang with feelings. In last conversation with Sezen she said 'come to sing together a song in a project for social problems'..Who dont want some thing like this?
R: Will we see soon with an album?
ÇU : No, since 16 years old I play guitar.I always loved to sing.But dont think this to spill in trade.
R: In movie there is a little scene where you are naked, Were you ashamed in shoots of that scene?
ÇU: In that scene I was really naked.Camera angles were important.I was not ashamed.That scene was important to express psychological discomfort of the guy.
R: Those words does not sound very convincing when you have said 'I am ashamed in kissing scenes'.
ÇU :It was in an interview before 4 years.
R: Leyla Lydia Tugutlu said that she was tensed in love making scene.That scene scared you too?
ÇU : There is no exaggerated scene. It's movie that can be watched with family. I cant understand why happen like this in Turkey. I wasnt tense. I just worked to act out the feeling.
R: Did you lived a pasionate love (in real) like this as in movie?
ÇU: Love like this for sure are in movies, around me I havent see, I havent lived.
R: You are not a man so pasionate as in movie?
ÇU : I am Passionate .But I dont Live my feeling so much, I Feel ..For me it's a bit difficult to live a relationship..To come in stage of start i should know very well who I have in front..just like this i can jump a step.
R : How you explain love?
ÇU: Under love word there is Loyalty.
R : Can you make sacrifices for the sake of Love ?
ÇU: I dont know..I'm going to say something now but this time it will be a shame to friends who are in love..You should not ask me anymore about love.
R : Were you so much in Love?
ÇU: Usually my relationships are in long term. In a relationship it's important to add something to each other. In time that i will enjoy i will live something with her.
R: What you feel when Girls see you sexy?
ÇU: They see me like this?
R: Didn't they? Some of Girls that i know want to kiss you. In those moments you'd say 'come on,lets kiss' or you go away?
ÇU: Till now to me anyone didnt say 'Hello,you are very sexy'. Usually they say 'child of Family'.For sure they feel like know me previously..I am friendly..In my characters always have been 'Mr. Chap' ..For sure thats why they feel more close.
R: Let's leave modestly. Being So Much Desire/Demand of you does it effect you?
ÇU: I dont see my work like this..It just satisfies me spiritually.i dont mess my head thinking that there are so many options around me.
R: Are you loyal to your relationship?
ÇU: :o course, My eyes are not wide/here and there.
R:Which Women Are you interested in ?
ÇU: Standing on their feet ,Stable/Sturdy, Strong Character. This is as such in my friendship Relation too.
R:You lived in America for three months. When your Fame will come to a certain point then Is there one of your work's rule to take the way to America?
ÇU:No dear, I wanted to go there since 6 years. So for the first time in work I gave a long break. I went to make my own investment.
R: How is your life there ?
ÇU :I live in Santa Monica. I rented a house with two rooms. In the morning, I run up the side of the ocean . Nobody recognized me . I listen to myself. I'm getting prepared to begin training for the series in next season. Also in February there will be an advertisement work . I have interviews and Feature Films. In the future I want to get myself home in Los Angeles, even we are planning to open a small place with a friend.
R: Does friends there know that you're famous in Turkey?
ÇU :No, I didn't tell anybody. They just knew I am interested in acting. People there friendship with me without knowing who I am. R: So ready when you are away and No one knows of your fame Did you find love there?
ÇU:In My love life I'm slowing down ,I want to channelize it. I went there to improve myself. I do not want to digress the Aim.
R: 21years old, One Night you came on Screen and later you Printed your name among Country's the best Youngsters.Did you expect it ?
ÇU:Events has occurred so fast. On the Day Wining of Best Model I agreed for the series. It started shooting a week later.After 2 months in the streets everyone knew. It amazed me alot. In time I get used and I believe I digest it .
R: Have you had times when you felt down ? ÇU: There were difficult time. But somehow,
I believe that I fall under the spell of fame.To some extent i am an introverted/unsocialable Man. For hours in house i thought I die alone.
R: How's your phase now?
ÇU:Believe me, I did not realize how I came to age 25.Now I am in the process of understanding.I try to understand people and life. I passed the session of Introduction,now
I reached the part of Improvement.
R:Mother is Bosnian and Bulgarian immigrant Father. You grew in Istanbul Küçükçekmece. Then What?
ÇU: My mom and dad Retired. I have a brother 17 years old.I had a good childhood. Our time when there was a street concept. I grew up on the street. We make real friendships. We can chat face to face instead of phone and the internet.I used to play basketball . I wanted to be a coach. Then I calm down. But I still play whenever I get time occasionally.
