Mahir and Erdal are looking for the letters in the well where Nazif told them they will be:
E: Mahir!! Apparently there is nothing here … M: OMG!! … they are not here … E: And there is no other well! … M: Dad was so confident the letters should be here!! … E: Is it possible someone else took them from here? M: Who would take them? … E: How should I know? … someone should have known about these letters and got to them before us! M: But dad said no one else knows about the letters! …
In the meantime Mehmet Saim is asking the Internal Affair guy to make sure if knows this Salih:
MS: He is hanging around in the courthouse as if he was a secret agent from the Internal Affairs. He claimed to be, and is doing the job of a new lawyer under training! Ayten had enough with Mahir and decided to go pursue her dream. She wants to become a singer so she went to Necdet to sing in the nightclub he owns. Mehmet Saim Bey told Turgut that Salik Ipek is not assigned by the internal affairs and that they do not know who he is. Turgut went all crazy:

He is doing that for revenge?! .. he was claiming that we were not fair dividing the shares in the last deal so he was threatening to take revenge on us … (I’ll spare you all the bla bla bla …) Turgut: Mr. Mehmet Saim let’s tell Feride that this Salih is sent as a trap from the gangsters that he is using her and his love is all fake and lies Feride will immediately cut her relationship with him! … and I will issue a warrant to arrest him and will put him in prison! MS: No way Turgut! If Feride finds out anything about this you are my enemy!! … Turgut: But why? MS: What are you going to tell Feride? Huh? That her father is involved with the gangs and dirty business and that he has enemies that is why this man is here and he is using her?!?! … Isn't Feride going to ask why this man is here? Back to Turgut and Mehmet Saim:

The little girl(Feride's niece) came to visit her Aunt Feride at court.
Feride walked them out when she met Bahar. Bahar asked her how her sister-in-law died. Feride said that Melih’s dead wife was a very successful reporter and was granted a lot of rewards for her hard work. One day she was working overnight at the newspaper when she had a horrible accident and fell off the stairs they found her body the next day. Bahar started asking how come she falls off the stairs by her own and Feride said she does not have details she was on duty out of the country when the accident happened that was a horrible thing they were all devastated and she did not have the nerves for more details back then.
Serra came by distributing chocolate in her first day back to work. And was telling them that she should not have come back now cause she is barely finding free time with all her wedding preparations. Feride wished her good luck and left to her office.
Serra-Bahar after Feride left:
S: Miss Feride’s behavior is sometimes very annoying. if somebody saw her now how she reacted to my wedding plans news they would think Feride is jealous at me (O.o ) All angry Bahar at Serra: Allah Allah!! Miss Feride the big JUDGE to be jealous at you??? What nonsense!!! … Serra! Miss Feride dislikes unnecessary talks that’s why she left .. Anyway, good luck to you!! … and she returned the chocolate after she ate half of it (hehehehe Bahar cracked me up loool)
Mahir went home looking for his mother.
He wants to ask her about the letters but felt confused: S: I heard your voice I was coming! M: No let’s talk here! S: You are scaring me something bad happened? M: … Mom! .. There are letters … I looked into the well and I couldn’t find them … I must find them … S: Who told you about them? M: Father did! … that’s why I came this morning but I did not find them … S: So the dark unwanted day has come! … you want to meet your mother son?! M: You are my only mother!! … you are my mother! S: Then what do you want with the letters? M: Mom! There are some unfavorable developments in the case … that woman (he meant Nihan) is here in Istanbul! … she was in a relationship with the dead prosecutor … S: OMG!! She couldn’t find another man (hehehe I couldn’t hold my laughter Safiye is so right!! loool) M: Now they are turning the case to show that this is the reason of murder! …. I need to prove that dad knew nothing about that relationship … mom! … where are the letters? … the letters still exist right? (I felt my heart will stop here did Safiye open the letters?) Orhan overheard them! Safiye had all the letters she gave them to Mahir: S: When your father was taken to prison I moved them from the well. I don’t know maybe because I became the only responsible for those letters I was afraid someone will find them so I took them all and hide them in a safe place! M: These are all the letters right? S: Yes these are all. I used to take the letters from the mailman when your father was not at home and when your father receives one he used to bring it to me to hide it. Your father wanted to tell you about those letters but he hesitated I don’t know he was afraid to hurt me or he was afraid to hurt you and wanted to protect you and spare you living the same pain again and again! … and he kept postponing … I thought of throwing them one day he said it is not ours to throw them so we decided to give them to you that day but you came in bringing the sweets I love and you jumped and hugged me so tight … I saw my dear Nazif all in tears … so we took the letters back to the well!! … to know about them today is destiny my son! M: I wish I never knew about them! S: So are they going to be of any help? M: None of the letters is opened mother! … this is very good for dad’s case!! S: I was so curious about what she was writing … she did not cease sending her letters she was so persistent … I wanted to open them many times but I am so glad I did not … aren’t you curious to know what there is in those letters? M: I don’t care!! … all I hope for is that she did not write something that will make dad in trouble … I will never read them!! …
Mahir asked Ilknur about Bulent she said she sent him away he does not deserve to live in this house and she does not know where he is now. Orhan tried to know what there is in the bag Mahir is holding Mahir said nothing some meaningless papers. Orhan asked his Mother what does Kadar Alton wants from his father. Safiye said that Mahir will solve this problem. Orhan said yes sure he will solve this the same way he is solving everything else!
Serra is so furious with Feride she is afraid Feride is stalking Turgut. Her friend told her that Feride is in love with Salih, she fought with her father because of him and she left the house.
Turgut went to Necdet and ordered him to kill Salih tonight. He told him to follow him after he leaves in the afternoon and kill him today. Necdet asked for a Geveze’s casino for his services. Necdet told him the casino is yours after you kill Salih. Necdet wants the casino first and threatened Turgut that he knows he finished Geveze at the hospital.
Salih took all the letters and went to Feride’s office. Salih was so persistent telling Feride that here are the letters and Nazif did not open any one exactly as he said. When Feride asked Salih from where he got the letters Salih told her he went to the Kara family and asked for the letters. Feride got so angry with him that he had crossed the line and he should not have done so. There are rules and ways of doing things at the court house. A trainee cannot just go and ask for the letters he has no official title that gives him the right to do so. An official claim should have been issued and she should have consulted and got the approval of the other judges. And that he did not respect the rules and all this blah dibla bla … Salih said that he did not meant to do any wrong and all what cares now is that he got the letters. Those are very important evidence in favor of the defendant. According to Salih what importance can be given to the rules when a man’s life is on the stake! All what is important now is to officially add those letters to Nazif Kara’s file. Feride took the letters and asked Bahar to add those to the file and to check them and to officially state that there were all checked and none was opened.'
