Tülin: Hello everyone from the GQ night. It's the 2nd time in İstanbul, Man of The Year which is kept on for 18 years by GQ. Together we reward the men who are admirable. We will make the woman of the year feel proud together with 2013's successful men. And now..There is so handsome man close to me. We can say that he is my old colleague. We walked so many times together on the catwalk, weren't we Kenan?
Kenan: Yes, Yes
Tülin: How are you?
Kenan: I'm very good, very good. It is so cheery night.
Tülin: Kenan, first of all, I want to ask you that; you've opened a quite different way. You've razed that arguing whether a model can be an actor or not. Now you are an idol. So many young follow you. What will you say about it?
Kenan: Yes, you don't lie about it. I am the one who was beaten the most.
Tülin: This is model's destiny, isn't it?
Kenan: Before 15 years, when I started this work in 1998, a serious arguing's started about whether a model could be an actor or not. I always answered that, the time will show us. It would not be. I mean it would not been from me.
Tülin: But I konow, you worked hard and still you're working hard.
Kenan: I loved my work, I really loved my work. Then it's become my job. Really I love it very much and I've tried to do my best and the feedback is positive.
Tülin: Generally we are used to see you as best man actor in award ceremonies. You must be get used to it. What do you feel this time? How is the feeling of being appreciated? In addition, GQ has been for 18 years globally. This year, It's second time in İstanbul but it wins all of the world's approval. How is the feeling of geting an award from this magazine? Kenan: All awards are nice of course. Being appreciated is making me feel proud. But you can't do this work alone. Our job is a real teamwork. If our all team wasn't good, I wouldn't won this award. This success is all of us. In front of you, I want to thank the whole Karadayı team.
Tülin: As we said Karadayı, for 2 seasons, is one of the most beloved serial. Every episode surprises,also the emotion is increasing. When this tension will finish? For example, people can't stand it any more. Kenan: In fact it forces me. It forces me, I guess this tension will continue till the end. I must congratulate my scenarist friends seperately. They hold the tension so good. From last year, they hold the excitement of wondering what will happen with us. I congratulate their efforts.
Tülin: Well, is there meeting (come together) with lady judge?
Kenan: hmm, I don't know. The time will show. Tülin: What do you think about your partner, Bergüzar Korel? How is your set times? Do you have fun?
Kenan: Yes, we work so cheery together. I think we get on very well with Bergüzar. And in scenes, the electricity between us, soul of teamwork, rebounds to people. So our viewers love us as couple. I congratulate Bergüzar seperately. She has so efforts on her role.
Tülin: Last year, you played leading role in the film, Uzun Hikaye by Osman Sınav. Now, the serial takes a lot of your time, but in close time, is there any cinema project?
Kenan: There are some projects we are thinking and discuss. But it is not in a position I can explain you now.
Tülin: Anyway, another time.. Kenan, being a star is really big responsibility. But you everytime, come down to earth (turkish expression, like always strong, feel sure of oneself) You are always humble. You are an actor who everyone love. When "Kenan" is said, quite different words fly in air How can you success this?
Kenan: I'm peaceful with myself. I try to do my work good. I try to be sincere to myself to the life. And there is a support from my family. Even if we are in different places, our ethics are coming from the family. When everyone come together even with some efford, then I think that good things will happen.
Tülin: Kenan thank you so much!
Kenan: Thank you too.
Tülin: We congratulate you again.
Kenan: Have a good broadcasting!
